Grate place and awesome service by rooftop staff very nice place for couples. Food was delicious and service was awesome specially we recommended to Mr.Anil for his service. He were very friendly and courteous we loved it definitely we will recommended to others

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay during our short leisure trip to Mysore.
Didn't think much before opting for JP Palace since it being part of chain of hotel run by ITC under brand name "Fortune". The Hotel fell short on promises and expectations on following accounts;
1. The complimentary fruit basket and cookies were not served as promised on reservation voucher despite a reminder (though nothing is free since every item is accounted for under room tariff).
2. The temperature regulator's malfunctioning made us to suffer cold nights, the person from maintenance also could not set it right.
3. The worst was to come, we had planned to visit Chamundi Hills early morning after taking bath, we got up at 6 am , there was no hot water running in taps.we called the maintenance staff who gave some funny excuse and asked us to wait for five minutes, we waited till 7.30 am to no avail. We visited temple without taking bath. On return the hot water was still not available. The supply of hot water was restored around 10 am. So it took good 4 hours for them to solve the problem. Tourists with tight agenda cant afford to waste their time due to inefficiency of the hotel staff.
4. Breakfast has a moderate spread. Simple principle of serving food is "Serve it hot", you dont enjoy cold sambhar, cold pongal, cold saagu, cold puris....very disappointing. And there was obvious lack of promptness in refilling the containers.
5. The pool closes at 7pm , and tourist/customers on business visits normally return to hotel only after 7pm, hence the pool doesnt cater to their timings, moreover pool is too small and lacks heating.
As customer we were dealing more with student-interns than the senior officials.
Fortune - ITC brand enjoys great reputation but above flaws are not the testimony to their reputation.

We stayed in this hotel for a night while going to Ooty. Hotel location is good. Very near to Mysore palace. Rooms are neat and clean which is obvious expectation in any five star hotel.
Coming to the bad part of the hotel:
We had to park our car our own and carry the luggage all the way from parking to the reception as the security said driver is not available. I don't think this is a good excuse from 5 star hotel. We had buffet dinner. Food was not at all tasty. Didn't look fresh even. While checking out we called reception to inform them. One person came just to check the mini bar but didn't even bother to ask about the luggage to carry. When we just enquired this in the reception, we got an arrogant reply saying you have not called for the luggage to carry.
Hospitality is not of five star quality. Even in the restaurant they were trying to please only few of their guests not all. They were concentrating on few. It didn't give good feel at all.

We are regularly visiting to fortune j p palace Because for their professional staffs and excellent hospitality specially mr.Anil at rooftop restaurant is really very good and very helpful person.super delicious cocktails we always enjoying when we visiting Neptune bar . Hi tea at rooftop restaurant was awesome if you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere then you must visit to rooftop restaurant once Mr.Anil,Manager Pattanaik and staff hapin were always good people should must visit once to rooftop restaurant for their good hospitality thank you

We have visited JP Palace recently, on my pooja holidays with family. We have taken two rooms, prize was little high due to festival season but they have matched the prize with their facilities and service provided. Very good swimming pool, my kids enjoyed a lot and food in restaurant was amazing. I have spent some time in bar also, good atmosphere. The housekeeping manager Mr Hari was very helpful, throughout he was there to help us, whenever required. Overall it was really relaxing and we felt very comfortable. thanks team JP Palace.
