We had to see the grounds from afar due to security reasons.

“Huge and Beautiful”
Reviewed 1 March 2012

You can only see it from the outside though. When we visited, our car drop us off the gate and wait a few hundreds meter, near the parliament building complex. We can have a few minutes to take photos and go back

“Flowers Gone Crazy”
Reviewed 29 February 2012

This has been an amazing year for Delhi's gardens and the annual opening of the Mughal Gardens thru March 10th is a wonderful activity for every age. We went on Feb 28th-and the blooms are just peaking. It is one of the best shows in years thanks to the weather.

On the practical side it takes a few minutes to deposit all the things you might carry, (mobiles, camera's, wallets etc) into the security-holding area. Then you go thru two separate security pats downs. Along the route shade tents are provided in several places. Good bottled water is provided free at strategic points. The many guards are very friendly.

And then---flower nirvana! Brilliant!

The return of our deposited articles was easy and the security team in charge of that process was serious and dedicated--no worries about having left them behind.

“Breathtaking”
Reviewed 28 February 2012

The cul de sac where this building is located is awesome. All these gorgeous govt buildings surround the palace. Even though the palace is gated, you can see still see the beauty of the place. If you stand in front of the palace and look in the distance you can also see India Gate, gorgeous.
