This is a nice hotel and clean but the rooms could use a new coat of paint and a new carpets. The service is friendly and attentive.

It seems that not many of the taxi drivers or auto rickshaws know where this hotel is as it is so far north of all the other districts and it is out of the way of most of the places you want to go in Delhi. It is beautiful from the outside, but rooms although large are rather stark. The air conditioning could not be controlled inside the room we got and so we had to request radiators and blankets as it was so cold at night. There was also a smell of smoke coming from the air conditioning which was unpleasant. The staff were helpful and allowed us a very early check in when we arrived, just a shame the room didn't live up to other hotels of a similar price we stayed in.

This is a real gem, combining outstanding service, beautiful rooms and a boutique hotel spirit. The staff was extremely helpful. We spent 3 nights at our arrival in Delhi, and an other night on our way back from Jaipur, and we really felt welcome home.
Food at the Curzon room was very good (we always ordered from the menu), and the terrasse is absolutely amazing, with its green and quiet loan, its white sunshades and wooden tables.
The rooms were spacious and decorated with simplicity and taste, and the bathrooms were gorgeous (huge shower and bath, marble floors). All perfectly clean.
The car service is also very good.
Excellent value.

Situated in Old Delhi's Civil Lines area which was inhabited by the British civilian population. Visited this white plastered facade which formerly housed Indian professionals and merchant families. As we where staying across the road at a good homestay we decided to venture out an evening meal. Once greeted we where ushered into a small bar area, (freezing A/C)where you could not see the whole of the foyer or the rest of the hotel. The bar drinks where overpriced, although accompanied by a bowl of nuts!. As we where the only people in the area, the staff kept starring over, all be it attentively - it was off putting. No music or ambiance. Left and went to local restuarant. Can't comment on the bedrooms.

Dear Guest,

We thank you for visiting our Bar and posting your feedback on trip advisor.
We are distressed to learn that temperature was too low to your liking. Usually the month of June and July are amongst the warmest period in Delhi and A/C is run on full capacity. However, we have taken note of your remarks and briefed the concerned team members to maintain the temperature to a standard level.
Look forward to your stay at Maidens Hotel not too distant in a future.

found this hotel heavily reliant on the heritage building to justify the price. Breakfast was about £7 for a buffet with average service. If you want a cup of tea later then expect to pay £4.

Rooms are bland and nothing special.

Location is OK but a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro and then a few stops to centre of Delhi.

Think this hotel is really for business rather than pleasure
