I've spent one month at Lifetree, while working in Delhi, and I absolutely loved it.
The building is nice, the rooms are huge and clean, and all have an attached bathroom (hot water, shower, western-style toilet). Without being exceptionally fancy, Lifetree feels like home (it is actually the owners' home!), and it is the perfect place to go back to, after a busy day around the city. Moreover, guests are allowed to use the kitchen and cook their own food.
Mrs. Kanta is an incredibly friendly, nice and helpful lady, and runs the BnB in the most efficient way. She's always there for her guests, and makes sure that everyone feels at home at her place! The other people of the house include her husband, an extremely kind gentleman, and the two Nepali young men who help Kanta keep the place clean, cook and take care of the guests. They make a very nice team, and welcome tourists in the warmest way.
Also the neighborhood, Lajpat Nagar, seemed a very good location to me, as it's lively and busy, without being crowded and annoying - especially for young women travelling alone - as other more touristic areas are. The metro station is at walking distance, and there's a number of restaurants and shops all around.
Will definitely go back to Lifetree, next time I'm in Delhi!
