I very happily returned to stay at Aashiyan as I had stayed before and had always been superbly comfortable. Again, everything was perfect, and the food as always simply wonderfully delicious.

I also enjoyed the fast internet!

As the weather started to get warmer, the whole house was very well climate-controlled, and my room was cool for a great night's sleep.

Another absolute highlight is the green environment all around Aashiyan. The park just behind the house is very well kept, and in April there were cascades of flowers everywhere. It is a great place for joining the locals on a morning walk!

Thank you so very warmly Kiran, Jp and all the staff!

Room Tip: All rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our trip to India. It is a calm, cool oasis in the heart of Delhi. Kiran was very welcoming and the 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners we had were very tasty indeed, especially the hot buttered parathas!

We spent two nights here on arrving in Delhi and it could not have been better. If you are toying between a hotel and a homestay (as we were), go homestay. The welcome, personal service (whilst not being over the top), the food and the location all make this perfect. On arriving, we were offered chai (lovely) and then went for a walk around the park to the rear to stave off the jet lag. The park is huge and filled by locals playing cricket and ladies wearing brightly coloured saris. We ate in both nights. I'd recommend the same to anyone staying here. The food is sublime and after this, we ate Indian food for the whole of our trip. Breakfasts were equally excellent and we'd recommend the masala omelate. What sets Kiran and JP apart from hotels is that whatever time you are leaving in the morning, they will get up to serve you. A must stay in Delhi and they deserve every 5 star review. Thank you to all the staff.

Arrived tired & bewildered after our flight, to this calm & welcoming home. Hosts delightful, made themselves available when we needed help or to talk about their lives & culture, but never imposed. House in a quiet enclave in this bustling city. Our room ample & pleasant with comfy bed, good bathroom & small balcony. Food was very good, served by friendly & helpful member of staff. We especially enjoyed talking with our hosts, trying Indian recipes, & visiting the park a short walk from the house. Thanks for a lovely start to our first experience of India!

Room Tip: Our 1st floor room had balcony looking onto communal quiet square.

We spent our first two nights in India here with Kiran and AJ and were made most welcome. Our room was comfortable and clean and the peace that this lovely home offered enabled us to aclimatise to India, which we really appreciated. We had wonderful home cooked Indian food and felt very safe.
