We loved our 2 night stay here and would stay again. While it is in the Medina, it was a quick walk and easy to find from the main square. The room was small but clean and warm when it was quite cold in Chefchaouen, The meal room has incredible views so be sure to get up there for breakfast or just to check it out. We found the staff helpful, they gave us directions to locations in town and arranged a taxi to Meknes for us. Breakfast was great and hearty enough to fuel us and we had the special pleasure of being able to join the owners for a delicious Sunday dinner of homemade Basteeya. This was one of the highlights of our trip and was delicious and so generous for them to include. The hospitality demonstrated by the staff and owners was incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again if in Chefchaouen and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

A cosy hotel located off the Medina, the host is super friendly and helpful...always answered my question with a smile.

Delicious breakfast prepared fresh which alternates every day. Breakfats is served at their rooftop terrace which offers a wonderful view of the village.

The hotel however don't accept credit cards so make sure you bring enough $$ (both Euro or USD are also accepted)

Pros:
Nice staff that helped us book a taxi onward. nice rooftop terrace. Good breakfast. Very good Wi-Fi. Had about 6 rooms, so had the charm of a small hotel.

Cons:
Only offer breakfast between 8-11, but if you need to leave earlier than this, they don't offer any breakfast to go. The room was very small. The bathroom was kind of dingy and the towels were stiff and old. The water got warm but not hot. The room was cold - wish we had a space heater. And the location is in the medina, but somewhat far and up stairs from the street. They don't come down to lead you there or help with luggage, so if I was visiting again, I would stay at the hotel Parador, or somewhere on the main road.

The location was amazing - you need to go up the hill for a while to get to the hotel but it is soooo worth it. The mountains view from hotel windows is stunning. The roof tarrace where the breakfast is served - wow! And the breafast itself was very tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was working very good.
We stayed just one night but I couldn't price it enough :)
Thank you Koutoubia team for sauch a nice time :)

From Chefchaouen Bus station, you should use only sharing taxi to Central car parking uphill(cheap and good). From parking turn right and walk only 5-10 minutes, you will arrive hotel. The owner and staffs are very nice and good location. Suggest to choose city view room. Breakfast is yummy esp. Roti and orange juice. Blue town, chefchaouen, surrounding of mountain, fresh air, very yummy local food. Don't trust me at all untill you face by yourselves. You will say " Yes, indeed."
