This hotel is very nice and the staff is even better; they would go out of their way to get whatever you need. Our room was on the terrace so it had plenty of light and it was nice and cozy however, there was no kettle or hair dryer and what I think is the worst is that the bathroom has no door! Also if you stay on the top floor have in mind that you won't get WIFI because it doesn't reach. The room on the lower floor are very dark but I believe they do have bathroom door, I guess you can ask. The breakfast was nice (it is not a buffet) They make it for you whenever you are ready, it consist in coffee, milk or tea and they bring bread with butter and jam and also eggs and some sort of fried pastry. The location is excellent!

Room tip: Rooms on the rooftop have more light (but no wifi)

hello, thank you for your feed back on Dar Gabriel.
it is a bit difficult to get a strong wifi all the way to the top terraces, and we do find most of the village use it if it is too strong a signal!
the darker rooms are lovely in summer,
I hope the free availability of tea makes up for the lack of kettle.
best wishes
Penelope

The service was excellent. The rooms in general are small but nice and very clean. We got the room on the terrace. The rooms downstairs looks dark, but they have wifi connection. The toilet in our room didn't have a door. I think most of the rooms don't have doors on the toilet. The rooms don't have a kettle or hairdryer. They offer shampoo, soap and towels. We stay in the hotel for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful. We have a little problem with the shower in our toilet and they fixed it immediately. The breakfast was good enough. The location of the hotel is perfect.

Room tip: terrace rooms are quite and nice, but doesn't have wifi.

hello
thank you for your response.
we do try to be as modern as possible with wifi and service to our guest.
in a very ancient medina it is hard to get light to the bottom of the riad, naturally, in the winter.
in the summer its wonderful!
the terrace I hope compensate for this, a place to relax.
kind regards
Penelope

We stayed for one night in the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. Easily found and wonderfully welcomed. The price was perfect and the room was cozy and clean. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and it is close to everything in the medina.

My friends,my husband and I were very pleased with our stay at Dar Gabriel.
The staff are nice and speak several languages. The rooms are very clean and well furnished with private bathrooms. It very easy to find, near the Bab Souk gate in the Medina. They have a magnificent rooftop terrace where you can relax and talk with other travellers. The staff can recommend many things to do and see.We enjoyed our stay immensely.Reasonably priced.

Room tip: The rooftop rooms are the best
