Amazing. Incredibly lovely people. Fantastic place. Great location. Good breakfast, with crepe, bread, cheese, tea or coffee, butter, jam, honey . just one little problem :Breakfast is served from 9,a little too late if u have a bus schedule. Meeting Bidal is an EXPERIENCE. What more do u want? Thank u guys. A hug to amazing Bidal and his lovely wife

First of all, the manager and staff are very friendly, helpful, and genuine. Bilal the manager is a friendly face at your service at any time. He helped us buy bus tickets and build our fire in the cute fireplace and was very communicative.

The hotel itself is a character gem. Every nook and cranny is thoughtfully stylized. It is very clean and there are plenty of places to relax. A lot of work was put into this place by Cosimo, the owner. The building is 1400 years old and Cosimo renovated it. We loved the private fireplace (4 euro) and the decorative local artifacts.

Breakfast was ample and freshly made. We were stuffed!

The location is in the heart of the Medina and about 5-10 minutes walking from the square and 5-10 minutes walking to beautiful hiking trails or the new city.

One of our favourite parts was Joy the dog of the manager's wife. She is such a teddy bear!

This picturesque abode is cosy and you will be welcomed with a smile. We are happy to call Bilal and his wife friends.

You will not be disappointed if you book Hotel Dar Terrae!

Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and like family. They upgraded us to a bigger room and helped us keep warm with plenty of firewood. It rained a lot during our week but when the sun came out the rooftop was the place to be. We often took our breakfast as our lunch to go hiking as we needed to eat earlier. Such kind hosts.

Room Tip: Some beds are softer than others and rooms are small so get the biggest one you can

Stayed for 1 night only - however would had loved to stay more. Clean nd very very cozy. The host is as charming as the village. The rooms are coz, comfy and have all you need.

Very typical from the place so don't expect modern or trendy.

Nice Morocco breakfast served in the lovely terrace. Located in a superb place ... very central in the Medina but not far from the parking.

Attended by manager and owners. Its a family type B&B where they make you feel at home.

Very good value for money!

I have been a guest of Dar Terrae for over 10 years. Bilal, Cosimo, Hanna and Yasmina have become like family. From the first time I entered Dar Terrae over 10 years ago I felt at home. The riad is beautifully decorated and reminds me of a doll house. If you are looking to spend time in a beautiful setting with amazing people then I would not hesitate to book a room. Bilal and Hanna make excellent diners and I would recommend having your meals at the riad verse going to a restaurant where the food is not as tasty as a home cooked meal. You cannot beat Dar Terraes location. It is just a 3min walk to the square and is easily accessible to the 2 main entrances into the city. Chefchaoen was built on a mountain so much of the city is on a hill and requires climbing lots of steps which can be difficult with luggage. The prices range from 35$ for 2 people with breakfast in a standard room. They have 1 suit for 55$ that can fit 3 people. I can't wait to head back next week to spend the holidays at the hotel.
