This hotel was absolutely beautiful and we never wanted to leave! The hotel is located on the side of the mountains at the top of the small Chefchaouen medina and we had the most spectacular view over the blue medina and the Rif Mountains from our gorgeous room. This hotel was more like a guesthouse with friendly, helpful staff who were very caring when I got ill with a flu. The staff also assisted us with booking bus tickets for our onward journey from a nearby ticket office. Breakfast was amazing and included yogurt, eggs and fresh juice along with the usual selection of Moroccan breads. Because I was too sick to go out for a couple of nights, we ate dinner in the hotel and the food was some of the best we'd had in Morocco.
On our last day, we had to leave very early to catch a bus (6:30am) and the manager transported us to the bus station via a cafe where he bought us breakfast as we were too early for the breakfast in the hotel. He has only taken over the ownership of this hotel in September 2015 and the pride and care that takes in ensuring that guests have a great experience was evident. I would highly recommend staying here.More
