Lonely planet definitely needs to take this place out of its recommendations. The only good thing is the decent location. The smell of horrible coming from the bathroom. Like disgusting. Our whole room was humid and smelled like a sewer. They're only other saving grace is a large tree in the court yard. Bed is hard and lumpy. They don't even serve breakfast. The owner was extremely rude and awkward. I had trouble getting into the wifi because the password written on the wall didn't work. I asked him if he could help and all he did was point at the same password on the wall. I'm so sad we spent any time here at all.. We should have stayed at Riad Asilah.

Bed was not clean, room was freezing and the chicken oustside cried EVERY MINUTE through the whole night. I coundn't sleep more than an hour. Not even cheap. The location is the only thing good enough.

Located just outside the medina, basic, clean, very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Wifi available free throughout the hotel. Breakfast not available, but restaurant next door very good

We usually stop over in Assilah before taking the ferry back to Spain, and have yet to find our ideal 'bed-for-the-night'. The Patio de la Luna offered a comfortable option, though, with a great bar next door for an excellent early breakfast. Prices overall seem high to us, for an out-of-season seaside resort, but it's still worth the stop. The Spanish owner is great, even if the other staff could be a tad more pro-active. Definitely a possibility of a return visit...

Simple but clean room and bathroom. Helpful staff (albeit pretty much non-English speaking). Can't beat the value and location though, it's right by the beach, the pier and the entrance into the Medina.
