Laguna Redang Island Resort offers well-organised, touristic yet educational stays related to coral reef and turtle conservation.
There are few reasons to go in strong detail, because simply everything was well organised (arrival, food, accommodation, snorkeling trips, evening activities, swimming pool) etc...
You shouldn't miss the beach snorkeling trip as you see massive amounts of tropical fish used to have visitors around. You also shouldn't miss the walk from the hotel towards the rocky shore, where you can see baby sharks (about 1m length) that are very reluctant to swim slowly through all the legs and shoot in and out the shallow waters.
Also great self-service buffet (3 times per day), great organisation for getting you a table (although more effort is needed to set large groups at a single table rather than splitting them up in two tables).
- We recommend skipping the open-water snorkeling trip (although it is included) and to book a turtle trip (with a limited number of people).
- Wake up early one of the days and don't miss the sunrise !
- We recommend booking this from KT and not from abroad, as the price difference is huge.More
