I like to see how other communities live, this is one to see, you’re not going to need a long time, maybe only 10- 15 Min’s, or longer if you’d like to sit and have a drink or snack in the cafe, I’m told the restaurant is very popular at times, we didn’t stop so can’t comment.
It’s rough and raw, dirty, but interesting to see the fish and other sea foods drying in the air

We visited as part of a city day dour. Our guide explained the lives of the residents of the village, and we were lucky to be invited into one of the houses. We could not beleive how wonderful it was inside.
However there was an ammount of rubbish floating about in the water, and a bit of a smell in the heat.. But that is thier life here.

We stopped off here as part of our tour and enjoyed walking around the village.
The rubbish floating in the water was off putting - strange for us as we come from a recycling and tidyish country.
Houses of all sizes and standards, young children shyly peeked out from doorways to greet us.

Fasinating visit to the village and was allowed to visit a family home. Lots of plastic and rubbish in sea around area, which was a shame. Only yellow building can be for royalty linked families or 'council' buildings. Bought local fried banana as 3pm is snack time for all.

a place where you can buy cheap and fresh seafood. Besides that you will enjoy the sea view and fisherman lifestyle. There's a lot of boat and ship as you go into the floating village. High recommendation to any travellers whom like kampung lifestyle.
