The camp we enjoyed the most (and we visited six during our safari!). It is beautifully located next to a small lake with a lot of animals around. Monkeys were jumping from the trees in a hammock, impalas approaching up till a couple of meters, hippos, and lots of birds, waterbuck, and more. The ranger took us for a walk around the small lake but we needed to return half way: a large herd of elephants was approaching, very exciting. We stayed in the last tent and at night we could not get any sleep as we were watching the animals through the mosquito grids in the tent: impalas grazing one meter away from the tent, an elephant twenty meters away and giraffes even closer. Our first unfenced camp and what an experience! Part of the experience here is also a night game drive during which we saw a surprisingly number of different animals (elephants, hippos, impalas, buffalo weavers, bush baby, etc).

Travelled to Kenya for our silver wedding, Had a 4 day 3 night safari, The actual anniversary night was spent at Ziwani. Could't have asked for a better place for such a special occasion. Walking safari first with Steven (hope Arsenal do well this season) next a night safari and then dinner on the lawn overlooking the lake next to the camp fire! To top it all breakfast looking at Kilimanjaro - heaven.
The tents, the food , the grounds, the staff were all excellent, thank you Ziwani and sorry for not reviewing earlier.

A warm welcome, a superb location next to a lagoon with is very own Hippos and Crocs! We ate over Dinner by candle light next to the lagoon, after a night game drive in which we saw grazing Hippos and Bush Babies. A good nights sleep was had by all in the large, clean and well appointed tent, No boy scout or girl guide camping here! Will definately return!
