Severin Safari Camp is incredible! "Camp" probably isn't the right word. The luxury tents are very large and have their own bathrooms. The camp is isolated and you feel like you are in the wild. There are several watering holes around the camp where animals can be seen heading to, though we didn't see as many as we had hoped. The food was more than what we anticipated and was delicious. The only downside was how long it took. Lunch and dinner would each take about 90 minutes with several minutes between each course. Ordinarily this would be a great way to relax and enjoy the scenery, but with kids, that's a long time, especially at night when they are ready for bed. The other great thing about this "camp" was the swimming pool. We all enjoyed getting refreshed after a long safari. We would highly recommend Severin Safari Camp.

It was a great pleasure to welcoming and hosting your family here with us.

Regarding the waiting during meal times for your kids, this is well noted from our side.
You can make sure we will take this up and improve here!

This was our least favourite of all the camps we stayed in during this Kenya trip, however, it was still good. A particular shout-out to Manya (sp?) the manager who was very kind in accommodating a particularly specific and annoying request we had regarding wi-fi. It was much appreciated.
The staff was very good as we've come to expect at all the Kenya camps, and went out of their way to accommodate us.
Our banda was comfortable and well appointed.
Not that a pool is necessary but we did come to appreciate a dip in a pool after driving through the Parks and this one was fabulous. It has an amazing looking spa and offers exotic sounding services calculated to truly relax and revitalize. Shandia (sp?) at the spa was very nice and I feel sure she is excellent -- we only swam this time. The food was very good.
There are small watering holes scattered about the camp and not a huge amount of game to be seen although impala and such wander freely through the camp. Of course the views of distant Kilimanjaro and the game in the Park in general more than made up for the scarcity of game viewing whilst in camp. And be sure not to miss a trip to nearby Mzima Springs of hippo and crocodile, and Alan Root fame.
We were surprised to be charged Ksh1200/- each for packed lunches. This was the only lodge that charged for the service. They were excellent of course but since we paid for full board we were surprised at the charge. But that is minor.

Dear RTRJANE.

The whole Severin Safari Camp Team is sending you many greetings from the wilderness of Kenya to Southern Colorado.

It was a pleasure to welcome and hosting you here with us.
Thank you for your feedback.

I’m happy you enjoyed a wonderful stay here with us and the swim at our amazing KenBali Pool & Spa.
Tsavo West is a unique, beautiful National Park with all its Volcano Hills, there is a lot to explore here, like a 4 hours bush walk through the wilderness with a KWS Ranger and our Masai.

Please contact me directly on: guestrelations.manager@severinsafaricamp.com
I would like to have your full name and date you have stayed with us, to follow up regarding the issue with your Lunch Boxes.

The quality of accommodation here is wonderful. The pool is amazing and the tents well appointed. The food was the best we had on a 4 night safari and the view of the waterhole from the restaurant makes dinner a fabulous experience. The staff were all very welcoming and efficient. We also really enjoyed the sundowner experience although it is rather overpriced I think!

This place is flawless pearl in Tsavo West. The staff is friendly and you feel like you are home among friends. The food was great and the camp was 110% luxury. Zebras walked around our tent at night and several gazelles were seen when swimming in the pool.

Jambo vedstedfamilien.

Sunny greetings from Kenya to Denmark. Thank you for your fantastic feedback.

It is a wonderful feeling to stay with us and watching the peaceful grazing Zebras, Giraffes, Antelopes or the Gazelles drinking from the water hole. Surrounded by a beautiful nature of Lava and Volcano Hills.
Enjoying a swim at our KENBALI Pool or a relaxing massage…

I was really impressed by Severin. Very good quality tented lodges, helpful staff and the best dinner I ate on a 4 night Safari. The setting within the park is simply stunning, with animals able to approach the lodge. I would also recommend the sundowner excursion - enjoying sparkling wine and nibbles whilst watching the sun set over Kilimanjaro was really something to remember!

Jambo V0000.

The whole Severin Safari Camp is sending you many greetings to the United Kingdom.
Thank you for your compliments and sharing your experience with us. I certainly will let our chef know, that you enjoyed the best Ddnner here with us while on your safari.

Ohh yes, the Sundowner at Poachers Lookout with snacks… enjoying this unique, wide, beautiful landscape of Tsavo West, with a glass of sparkling wine and listening to the music of “Out of Africa”… This gives you a very special feeling and Africa experience.
