Looking for something out of the ordinary when in the north of Israel? Nurit Gallery is an art gallery that Nurit runs out of her immaculate home. All of her art is floral-themed and influenced by her surroundings. Visiting the gallery and conversing with her and her husband is fascinating- not only if you want to see (or puchase) her art, but also if you want to learn about the history of her village and settlement of the area in the late 19th and early 20th century. Her ancestors came to the area, endured malaria and starvation and harsh conditions and succeeded in making the Hula Valley one of the most beautiful and agriculturally productive regions in the entire country. Well worth the visit. Ideally for those who are interested in art, but also for those who are interested in a a bit of personal history in a place way off the beaten path. If you want to meet the locals, see the way they live, and possible go home with a piece of original art, this is the place. A quick visit, free. Advisable to combine with a visit to the Dubrovin Farm and the Hula Nature Reserve.

Nurit Gallery is a unique and lovely small gallery in the picture like place Yesod Hamala. The artist loves flowers and they are all over and not only on the walls. We loved it!
