Had a wonderful informative tour which left us impressed and baffled about the entrepreneurship, courage and love for the land. Can't wait to come home and taste the cold pressed super extra vierge olive oil (which we left in a boiling hot car...)

Impressive. Pristine clean. Each room has 6 beds, a small kitchen, shower and toilet. Some rooms command a magnificent view over the mahtesh and ibex strut past the window. Pure bliss. There is also a large dining room. Highly recommended.

Traveling in the Negev desert of Israel means exposing yourself to an unbelievable, untouched landscape. To complete the desert experience one should sleep at least one night outside in a tent. The desert farm at Karmei Har Hanegev is a great option to do so while enjoying basic facilities such as electricity, hot shower and fridges for your food. This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it is charming and groomed and provide you with that desert experience you can not feel in a regular hotel.
We were staying there as part of a 3 day journey for our daughter bat mitzvah and we experienced 2 out of the 3 room options. Families or large parties should stay in one of the large Bedouin tents. It comes equipped with mattresses, fridge, AC, BBQ and water. Its a lot of fun.
if you into camping use the covered camping area that provide electricity to charge your cell phone (nice touch). B&B units are available as well.
Yehudit the owner spoiled us with cold beer which was highly appreciated by the adults in the group.
Highly recommended and we definitely will be back.

The desert farm at Karmei Har Hanegev is a wonderful place to stay while exploring to natural beauty and sites of the Negev desert and Ramon Crater in the southern part of Israel.
Yehudit and Yossi are wonderful hosts who provide several options for staying in this area. There are bed and breakfast units, large beduin tent style accomodations and camping.
Yossi will give you a tour of their desert farm including the olive oil press factory and visitors center where you can taste homemade wine, jams, liquors etc.
There are many different attractions in the area to visit.

Room Tip: The B&B units are lovely with Bar-b--Q facilities
