The homestay is pretty far from Tam Coc village, which makes it quite uncomfortable if you want to go walking to have dinner (it's 2km away and barely no lightning). The staff lives there and eats at the same place as you do, there may be a chance that you both have dinner at the same time but they will stop eating to serve you. The staff is not specially friendly, and only one of them really understands english.
The bungalows are okey, some of them are facing the swimming pool while others (the deluxe rooms, as they call them), are facing a green dirty pond. We stayed on a deluxe one and the difference in price is not worth it at all. The room is quite simple,: big bed, good AC, large toilet.
If you want to be away from city centre you will like it for sure. You can also rent bycicles for 50 000 dong per day or motor bikes for 150 000 per day.
