We booked a family room for five nights thinking that we would have maybe all that a family room offers. The room was spacious enough however lacking what most hotels have, as follows. No facilities for making coffee eg jug+, no facial tissues no bottle opener. I was surprised that in the bathroom sink they have no hot water it is only plumbed in for cold? The bedroom has no drawers at all for storing clothes, the fridge is very small and is not that cold. The internet is atrocious slow or none at all so forget it. The breakfast mostly catered for Asians so forget your bacon and eggs.
The positive points for this hotel is the staff, they are very obliging, the housekeeping is very good and efficient. the location is ok however not walking distance to any decent shopping, tuk tuk only.
My final comment is I would not recommend this hotel for the price as there are much better hotels available situated closer to shopping ect.

Room Tip: This place has only one family room, be aware it is only on the 2nd floor, there are 6 floors in this hotel.

A modern, clean property, everything works fine, quiet environment, excellent staff. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Thai Immigration going over the bridge to Laos. In-room safes big enough to stash a 14-inch laptop. Great A/C. Buffet breakfast is pretty good. They provide you with 8 choices, but you can mix & match noodle types or whatever if you care to and order as many options as you can eat. You will not leave hungry or unsatisfied. I have lived and stayed in Nongkhai for years and this place is about the best, plus it will not break the bank. Minimal downside is that it is distant from the river & center of town, but really only a short, inexpensive tuk-tuk adventure away. The internet wi-fi is very good, not one problem in 8 days over 2 stays here. There is no back entrance to the hotel grounds so I view the property as very secure. Lots of parking if you have wheels. Top shelf choice.

Room Tip: Had a 3rd floor middle room in front and a 6th floor end room in back. I am a light sleeper, but never heard any noise at either location

Here for a business stay ! Have to wake up early in the morning! But started my day to a worst day!!!

Cannot use the toilet because the water from the shower is over flowing!

When you take a shower the water is over flowing outside the room!

And the worst part is the BAD SMELL !!!

Directly located at the border to Laos, an ideal stopover place, which is very clean, very well prized, with free parking and very good internet in the room, we made our breakfast by ourself, its no problem

Room Tip: any room is good - all are same - if you get higher floor, you will hear less street noise, but its quiet anyway

Stayed here for only one night and I hope to be coming back here for another stays. The staffs were helpful even I was arriving very late. There are parking spaces for you if you want to leave your car for a day or two (for a price of course). The room was super clean and very well furnished. So wide and comfortable. The amenities were at their best and the bathroom was wide and clean. Very unexpected for hotel in Nong Khai.

The hotel offers breakfast and the wifi was fast and stable. Not to mention that the hotel is the closest to Thailand-Laos border and you will not need and sort of transportation to reach the border. They offer a visa and border-pass for you for a price and you could just leave the documents at the reception, sleep for a night and you will get your document done by early morning. The hotel is also just opposite 7-eleven and many great restaurants. Love it and for travellers who want to find a place to stay a night before going to Vientiane, this is the place. Period.
