It is situated on Mosque Street, just 5 km away from Rameshawar city. This house is the place where Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, one the most popular president of India and one of the greatest scientists that India has even produced, had lived as a child. A place where he had spent his childhood.
You can see an array of photographs showing late president’s childhood and early stages of his life. There are medals, awards, photographs of his childhood days as well as his research works at the museum.
The opening timings of Kalam House are from 8 AM to 7 PM on Weekdays. It is closed on Weekends. The entry fee at the Kalam house Rameswaram is minimal. The visitors are charged with only Rs.5/- for entry to the museum.
Advice to all, you must visit once in your life with your kids.
Thank you.
