This sweet water well is located on the highway towards Pamban bridge and Dr.Kalam Memorial- a deviation of half-kilometer gets you there. When I reached the place,it was totally deserted . The location was incredibly beautiful with blue sea as backdrop and the well standing desolate in foreground. Both sides of the well there is a beautiful beach and water was Azure Blue.We really were elated with the solitude and quietness of the place. It is said that the well has sweet water- though I did not dare to taste it- in the midst of salt water of the sea .A sign board at the location says it was created by an arrow pierced into earth by Lord Rama!( Bore-well tech of ancient India!)

This is a place with very beautiful and Clean Sea Shore without crowd. Place have a small temple and a well which is believed to be made by Lord Rama by his Bow & Arrow. PLace have a small bridge with Sea on both sides. There are lot of shells available at shore and place have ultimate beauty and peace. I recommend to not to miss this point if you r going to Rameshwaram
