We had taken beachside family suite with 2 rooms and it was worth it. We had a good time with room just the beachfront. Limited option for vegetarians but can be managed. Great place to stay with family and have good time.

My boyfriend and I visited this place sometime in September.I was fascinated by their general "antique setting ".I mean old photos ,art works and all .And the receptionist was nice and even gave us coconuts while we were waiting to be checked in.Room was pricey but we didn't mind as it was the "executive suite " right next to the beach.upon arrival in our room we were utterly disappointed,it was very basic for the price, had a funny odour, the bathroom wasn't clean and there was a wall gecko in our hotel room! I called the reception, the nice one had just left and the night receptionist wasn't as nice.she said she would send someone to take care of the smell and the unclean bathroom and wall gecko but no one came .we slept with all the discomforts and woke up to do a run on the beach which was quite clean and nice.
The food was great .the staff were good in general but next time we would go in for the standard room as the suites are too basic for the price they demand.

Stayed here for 2 nights in January 2018. This resort has a lot going for it and sits on an amazing beach. If they could update the rooms, it was be a solid 4 star resort.

General - Very large secure property and has a private and secluded feel to it. Well maintained beach area with plenty of palm trees and interesting break that includes rocks making it very relaxing. Golf course and beachfront villas that looked very nice.
Bar and restaurant are just off the beach offering casual dining or just drinks. Pool area adjacent to bar with some seating around it.

Room - I had a standard room with small table/desk, working hot water (although dangerously scalding hot), coffee station, small TV, cold fridge, AC (with only an on/off switch since all knobs had been removed). Small awkward bathroom with inswing door that blocked shower access, only a top sheet with no other sheets or blankets, and only 2 electrical outlets hidden behind bed and TV stand. Was able to run an extension cord with a bit of a gymnastic move to plug it in.

Staff/Service - Staff was very nice and they sewed a pair of ripped boardshorts while I waited and did not charge me!

Food/Drink - Food was good with large portions but took over an hour to be served from the time I ordered. Enjoyed sitting by the beach but wait staff was worthless, bartender a bit better.

If not for the great beach and atmosphere and nice people, I would have given this place 1 or 2 stars tops. They need to update and repair rooms to match the rest of the resort and light a fire under kitchen staff.

Word of caution - Very tall coconut palm trees on property with falling coconuts a regular occurance. Stay on the paved paths or risk being severally by falling coconut.

Room tip: Beachfront rooms/villas are the only way to go.

Great stay overall! Great staff, restaurant, location, and beach. This resort provides a nice stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we decided to stay an extra day. Resturant and service was great, we will return.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The venue is great, nature is amazing as you have the beach right at your backyard.

However, the staff and service is very poor. Anytime we placed an order, they either got it wrong or the delay was unbearable. When we complained, the waiters felt we were being rude. The waiters are unfriendly except for a few I remember ( Osmond & Sis. Aba - they both deserve raises and praise). I head-counted the guests and we weren’t that many so I don’t know why the kitchen was falling behind. Also December being a very busy month, some preparation will be needed for occupancy traffic. The buffet table food was cold every (pancakes and crepes very chewy, honey and toppings not available) morning and wasn’t restocked on time either. There’s not a lot to pick from on the menus and staff in general don’t help. We grew tired of prompting the staff ALL THE TIME.

The rooms are quite nice and spacious, generally tidy but decor and equipment is getting old. Needs replacement or renovations.

This is such a great place and has immense potential but something needs to be done ASAP.
