We stayed at Stumble inn for 3 nights. We had a nice time here, it was relaxing and right next to the beach. The staff was really nice, and the food was amazing! We would defently reccomend it! Hanne and Cecilie

This is a lovely, laid back and safe lodge on the beach a mile or two west of Elmina. The thatched huts are lovely and clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

The sandy beach front part has a volley ball court and table tennis table. The place us separated from the sea by a new breakwater but that doesn't detract from the experience.

They have a bar and will fix meals for you.

The unpaved last km to the place is bumpy but passable in a salon car.

We camped on the lawn in front of the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the setting and layout of the lodge. Emmanuelle (aka Jordan), the night watchman, was super friendly and helpful and was a wealth of information - he truly helped make our experience what it was and guided us along the beach and into town on his day off. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and we had a wonderful four nights here on our journey from London to Cape Town.

Good value for money in this place with a superb accommodating staff and basic rooms to fit the price -all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the beach. Why go high end on the beach when you can hang here at a fraction of the price. Fresh and reasonably priced local food, surprisingly good Ghanaian coffee, beach football, volleyball, table tennis etc. Seems to be a regular layover spot for the adventurous travelers driving from Morocco to South Africa and had some really good conversations with other guests. If you really, really think you need wifi, just nip next door-otherwise enjoy being tuned out and tuned into the beautiful view and sounds.

Room Tip: Choose the wooden hut, a little better ventilation. Or if in the concrete huts just leave the bathroom door open for a cross breeze.

I stayed in a sweet thatch rondel house with an outdoor (essentially roofless) bathroom. I loved it and had the best nights sleep there. The staff is very cool and friendly and the food was great.
Unfortunately there is a big sea wall now that blocks the view and access of the beach. It is a far walk to get to where you can play in the surf. The sea wall is necessary but it completely defeats the purpose of staying on the beach.
Also, no wifi
