We were worried when we booked in to this resort with the bad reviews...We went in August 2018 (now run as Amieo) We were all blown out by the experience in a good way.. There is not much tide difference in Moorea so the water around the bungaloo seemed to be the same all day. Views the best we had ever seen.
We felt very lucky to stay in this place. The open air restaurant was open for breakfast and lunch although we did most of our cooking ourselves.
Over the six nights we stayed there we were also lucky enough to enjoy the local dancers practising for their hotel shows. Also, we had thrown in a traditional island wedding on our doorstep that we were invited to join in. Yes, the resort is over 50 years old and is in need of a slight tidy up. But, we did not care and loved it for what is was. We are going to go back and we would stay in this place above all others.More
