Our class went on a trip to Ecuador and we stayed here a few nights and loved it! They had great food, amazing views, and such nice staff! I would for sure recommend going here for a comfy, cultured place to stay!

We spend our fiirst 3 nights here in Otavalo. The whole experience set the standard for the rest of our trip. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and we loved watching the llamas. The food at breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful in a low key way. It was actually the best hotel we stayed at in Ecuador - budget irrelevant.

Room Tip: we had interconnecting rooms with our 2 daughters.

The hotel garden is nice, the hotel itself quiet and comfortable. The rooms are big. There is no central heating, which is somewhat problematic as it can be cold at night. There is fireplace, which was lighted by the hotel personal after dinner, and a warm water bottle was brought to bed. The restaurant was quite pricey (22 dollars for a 3 courses menu) for Ecuador but the food was very good. The breakfast was very good as well.
Wifi was available only near the reception. A curious and irritating thing was that when registering at the reception, you had to give your email address.

We had the good fortune to stay at Las Palmeras Inn from Feb. 22-24, 2018. This is a very quaint Inn. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Cesar and his son Esteban. Esteban checked us in to our room and then proceeded to give us a tour of the property including the gardens which provide food for the Inn’s meals. Cesar stopped by to speak with us at every meal and just made us feel at home. Since the days were still chilly Esteban came and started a fire in our fireplace. We were also provided with hot water bottles under the sheets to warm our bed. All of the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. We will definitely come back here when we return to Ecuador.
