Difficult to get there (for us a flight, overnight bus, smaller bus, and boat ride) but worth it. Lodge is nestled on a spit of land in the Amazon river basin, which allows for boat and walking trips through the jungle. We had a great guide with eagle eyes, who could spot tiny monkeys, still sloths, camoflauge birds, and itsy bitsy poisonous frogs. We also saw river dolphins surfacing and an anaconda close up. The package, which includes lodging, basic but tasty meals, several guided "safaris", and transport from Lago Agrio, is well worth it. Limited electricity (6-10pm) and no mobile or internet connectivity add to the (good) feeling of being remote. Huts are good sized and comfortable, with hot water showers, hammocks on the balconies, and mosquito nets.
