This hotel has a beautiful, peaceful setting along the Adriatic, and adjacent to the Punta Corrente park. The grounds are extensive and well manicured and there is plenty of seating (very comfortable lounge chairs) along the pebble beaches, under trees and around the pools. The design of the public spaces and rooms is crisp, clean and modern (and the charms of Old Town Rovinj are only minutes away). Breakfast was outstanding - a grade of 99/100 - perfect service, abundant fresh fruits, breads, pastries, fish and vegetables at the buffet tables and a la carte ordering for eggs, sausages, waffles, etc. The one point lost at breakfast was for the orange juice (not fresh squeezed). Dinner was another story. Service was poor - we never received a side course we ordered, there was an unusual and inexplicable delay before the main courses arrived (we were one of only several tables of diners), and I had to track down the waitress to sign a check at the end. In addition, the food was just so-so. That might explain why the restaurant was nearly empty. As a Leading Hotel, this should be fixed. Nevertheless, this hotel stay was an outstanding experience overall.

Our hiking group of 14 stayed next door at Hotel Loni, but we had a prearranged dinner at this hotel. Beautiful facility and setting. The food was average. The service was very good. Large modern room and facilities.

Room Tip: Bay view is stunning.

Our first trip to Rovinj and what a wonderful relaxing holiday. The hotel was well appointed, very clean and most staff very polite. The hotel is well situated with easy access to the sea and great views from the room. The pool area and the beach terrace have ample sun beds that are comfortable and plenty towels for guests to use.
I used the spa and had a great massage through the special deals that are offer, a very relaxing experience.
Great breakfast with plenty choice only niggle was that everyone wanted to sit outside and it became obvious as the week went on that some staff saved tables and favoured some guests over others when allocating these.
In general the food was good in all the restaurants and prices reasonable in the bar.
Would stay again.

My wife and I came back again end of September 2018 and enjoyed a further luxurious stay in exquisite, stylish atmosphere.

We had a comfortable deluxe room with sea view balcony at the third floor of the main building.

Breakfast on the terrace of the Mediterraneo Restaurant was excellent with the rich buffet and big selection of fresh made hot side dishes. The very attentive and likeable service personnel (Danijela, Sonja, Davide) fulfils all our particular wishes.

Unfortunately, this year was still the short promenade walking way to Rovinj old town center alongside the sea blocked, because of continuing reconstruction work at the neighboring ACI Marina terrain and the new build Maistra Grand Park Hotel.

We had two times dinner at the nice terrace of the Mediterraneo Restaurant and the quality of the served dishes has been excellent. The culinary high lights were for me the perfect pink grilled lamb cutlets and the medium rare beef tagliata accompanied by quaffable Croatian Teran red wines.

The Wine Vault restaurant at the basement is still a first class dining address and the offered Chef’s Table is a culinary highlight with outstanding performance of the new Chef Jeffrey James Vella and his kitchen brigade. (See my separate TripAdvisor comments).

The hotel bar, designed as a library is offering among others many top gin labels in combination with the best Peruvian, Chilean and Greece tonic waters. The gin and tonic are mixed with selected botanicals and every late afternoon at happy hour, we enjoyed different Gin and tonic combinations to our complete satisfaction.

Monte Mulini is a great and modern five-star hotel at a beautiful waterside location surrounded by lush trees, and just a 20-minute walk away from Rovinj’s old town.

The exceptional friendly and polite room, waiter and concierge service makes our stay very pleasant and comfortable. Many thanks for it. We intend to come back again in order to enjoy the fabulous location, the exquisite rooms and the exceptionally good food.

Room Tip: Deluxe Room at third floor, Junior Suite in side building with best view

My first visit to Croatia was to Rovinj and I stayed at Monte Mulini with friends that have stayed there before and loved it. I can see why! Beautiful property - lobby, rooms, views, beach club, beach, bar, wine vault, etc - all of it just perfect. Rooms are nice size with huge bathrooms and closet you can open from the bathroom side or room side which I thought was a nice touch. Cute patio to sit outside and take in the view.

I've had plenty of European breakfasts before but nothing like this one! Huge spread set up daily including self serve loaves of fresh breads, croissants, rolls. Tons of meats and cheeses and smoked fish (amazing) but the highlight was the sparkling bubbles that awaited you every morning and the fact they had almond milk for my daily lattes! You could also order hot food and the staff was so friendly and fun.

The bar is beautiful with the set up and the view - very nice staff there as well. We did the olive oil and wine tasting in the downstairs restaurant which was nice and used their bicycles to take around the bay which was fun. Lots of little bars on the path so you could take a break, grab a beer and take in the view.

My only complaint, which i've noticed others have mentioned, is the wifi was very spotty in the room but fine on the property, even when i went out in the hallway in front of my room! Not a big deal but if you need to be connected you're safer going to the bar or lobby or pool.

Rovinj is a fun walk along the water away - you can cab it too but it's worth the stroll into town. Great restaurants and little stores in a very clean subdued town. I loved it.

Overall an amazing stay and I cant wait to go back and do it all again!
