We stayed at the Pansion, so we were able to eat two breakfasts and a dinner here, and the food was among the best of trip. First of all, everything is super fresh -- the produce, the olive oil (amazing), the pasta, the breads -- and most of it seems to be home-made -- they make their own wine (though they have other types available as well), the owner's mother makes the jam they serve with breakfasts (super yummy), etc.... For breakfast the first morning they gave us scrambled eggs (excellent), bread with the yummy jam, cherry tomatoes, coffee, juice, and a lovely pastry for dessert. The next morning we had smoked ham with firm ricotta and cherry tomatoes, and bread and jam. For dessert, we had my favorite dish from our entire trip -- crepes/pancakes/palecinke with the the most amazing walnut puree. I wanted to get a glass of it with a straw. So, so good. Dinner: I was still full from lunch, so my dinner was tomato soup (perhaps the best I've ever had) and my husband had a super spagetti was wild boar ragu. Wow. Dessert was palecinke was chocolate, and then ice cream. I want to fly back right now just to eat here again.
