We booked a sea view room but were given the wrong room initially. However, staff soon rectified that. The room was clean and comfy. Our only complaint about the room is that the bed linen was not changed at all in a week. The hotel is generally very well looked after; it has a tranquil atmosphere, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Special mention must go to Tea and Marina on Reception, Lidija and Denis at the bar, and Dorde, Ruza and Robert in the dining room. They were all so friendly and helpful. The pool area is lovely and peaceful and there were never too many people in or around it. Unfortunately, we were not at all happy about the quality and variety of the food at the evening meal. The food was bland and always lukewarm. It was such a shame because attention to the meals would make it an excellent hotel. We really wished we had paid for B&B instead of half board as we ended up eating out for three nights. Many other guests had similar opinions and comments. The lack of warm, flavoursome food certainly needs to be addressed by hotel management. Apart from that, we had a lovely week at the Liburna. It is ideally located.

Room Tip: make sure you ask for a sea view AND choose the B&B (not half-board) option

Stayed here last weekend for a night with friends. We were arriving early and had requested an early check in. Reception managed to accommodate two of the three rooms quickly - the following taking just a little longer. The staff were so friendly. The hotel looks to have been renovated recently. The pool area is beautiful and close to the beach.

The hotel was very clean, and the the staff very friendly,. The only thing that let it down was the food was mostly warm and not hot. it could have been that the hotel was not very busy and therefore the turnover of food was not frequent.
Croatia is a lovely party of the world and Korcula and the surrounding islands are superb. I wouldn't want to go to Korcula in high season as I think it would be far too busy and although not all the excursions were available because of the time of year, there is the catamaran that goes between, Split, Dubrovnik Mijlet and Korcula, water taxis and buses all within 5 minutes walk from the hotel,so if you are prepared to make your own arrangements there is plenty of things you can do. Also ideal if you are doing multiple locations.
Korcula is 2 hours drive from Dubrovnik airport and then a ten minute boat ride.

We made an error in booking and ended up staying in Brna which is NOT where you want to be when visiting Korcula. Thankfully we were recommended to the hotel Liberna and our holiday dreams came true. Awesome view of the old town and only about a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and sites . Great little beach for a swim only minutes away. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade on arrival to an apartment which was an incredible treat. Staff could not be more accommodating and I would definitely recommend to family and friends when visiting korcula .

Very comfortable hotel, staff are most helpful & extremely friendly. Great buffet breakfast. Three guys traveling together, so they upgraded us to a suite. A very early departure to catch a catamaran to Hvar, they thoughtfully prepared us a takeaway breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
