We stayed here in the late summer and were lucky to have nice weather the whole time. It was perfect. My partner didn’t want to travel much further after flying out and so we found this place 15 minutes from the airport. I could see it had a beach from the pictures however tried not to expect much. When we arrived we were greeted by a view of the riviera through the foyer. Our room was not yet ready but we got our wrist bands and went straight for lunch. The food was delicious all week with lots of choice on offer and variety each night. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and of a good standard. We enjoyed the entertainment too. The drinks were not too bad - we drank them - just not the brands and mixers you would be used to. Cavtat was a great location with a pretty walk to old town and boat ride to Dubrovnik. Overall we had one of our best holidays and would love to go back.

Stayed here for a week late August 2016 with my fiancé. Staff very polite and always smartly presented. Hotel recently refurbished clean and tidy at all times. Double room a good size, spotless, amazing sea view from the balcony.

For guests with dietary restrictions - please note that Croatia uses different letters for allergens I.E 'G' was for dairy and not gluten! This is marked on the hotel food allergen board.

There are a few negative comments from reviewers regarding French guests at the hotel. The hotel does accommodate mostly French speaking holiday makers and their tour operators clearly have a special deal with the hotel for access to premium drinks etc (hence their red wrist band). Please note people, this is not French favouritism, it's down to your wrist band! I really enjoyed being at a hotel with a mix of nationalities about the place.

Pros - well placed for a 20 minute walk to beautiful Cavtat.
Good transport links to Dubrovnik
Short transfer time from airport (15 mins)
Good choice of food at all times
Limited gluten free choices at times

Cons - holiday makers feeding stray cats from the tables (not the hotels fault, the guests fault only)

Lovely hotel , friendly staff beautiful setting and our room 004 was great . So clean , large and the bathroom was very large compared to other rooms . We were on ground floor over looking the sea. A short walk to cavtat but really need a car if you want to visit other places as cavtat is the only place within walking distance. Boat or bus trips the Dubrovnik (absolutely stunning) and Lockrum. Only 15 mins from Dubrovnik airport. So great for plane spotting. Absolutely stunning sunsets to be seen from the hotel. Food was a little repetitive but a lot of variety. Only one toaster though so a little queuing in mornings but probably not as bad as in the summer. Pool was too cold for swimming but again lovely setting . The sea was warm enough to take a dip on the hot days. Lovely holiday .

We have recently returned from a 10 night, all inclusive, full board break at the Epidaurus Hotel, Croatia. First impressions of the hotel, grounds, and reception area was that it was clean, well kept and tidy, with an amazing view over the Adriatic Sea.

The receptionists were pleasant and smartly dressed, we were checked in very quickly and directed to our room.

The room was again, clean, well kept and tidy, but not particularly big. I would have to say that if we had decided on a 2 week break it would have been probably quite uncomfortable and claustrophobic by the end of the holiday. Wardrobe space was quite lacking as well, as I say, for a middle aged couple, both reasonably small and travelling fairly light we did end up living from our cases a little.

All inclusive entitles the guest to breakfast, lunch, evening dinner and snacks throughout every day and I would say that there was enough range to find something nice to eat every day. Breakfast was a little predictable with little variety, but still mostly very well prepared and fresh. A little disappointing was the speed of those employed to prepare and serve food, they were quite slow, but hey ho, what’s a little wait.

All inclusive drinks were a little lacking, not much of a range really and no ladies cocktails were included.

The evening entertainment was well rehearsed and performed with full length shows a few times a week performed by in house performers’. On other nights a “not quite so good duo” would provide “entertainment”

Finding a lounger for sitting out was difficult, there do not appear to be enough spaces or seating when the hotel is at capacity, which meant getting up early to meet with others trying to secure a spot with a towel. On a lot of occasions towels would lay unused most of the day, It’s a shame that the hotel staff made no effort to “police” this practice as it does spoil peoples chances of getting a spot, I have seen done very successfully in other hotels.

The hotel promotes a boat shuttle to and from Dubrovnik, a little distance from the hotel. It’s priced as competitively as many sites along the same beach, the only difference is the captain of their boat should be fired! He has no regard for safety or the comfort of his guests. One particular afternoon returning from Dubrovnik the wind got up and he never bothered to put the sides up of the boat. Everyone got completely soaked from the waves crashing into the boat, some people were actually scared! On approaching him at the end of the journey he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed! I would avoid this company and it’s a shame that the hotel associates itself with this little firm.

On the whole a very nice hotel, I would
recommend it.

Our room was a huge familyroom at the beach with lovely terrace and our own sunbeds. Not typical so you have to ask for it.
The staff attented to our every need and were friendly.
The weather in october was perfect, 25 degrees and sunny all week.
We rented a small boat twice and loved the beautiful coast of Cavtat, discovered magnificent swimming places!
Food was quite the same and not so special. Though the pizzas were perhaps the best we’ve had and you could eat them every day!

Really close to the airport but the planes didn’t bother at all.
Drove to nearby Montenegro and Bosnia and saw some great places.

We truly recommend this hotel!
