Had a very pleasant meal here. We had the very good fish platter for two which was excellent. The service was good. The quality of the food and service made up for the location which looks out on the bus station and has little view of the sea.

Really enjoyed our visits here - there's a reason its the only one in Cavtat which makes the lonely planet guide and the fish was definitely it. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked to order. The service was really friendly and efficient and they couldn't be more welcoming. The portion sizes are not overly generous but are well balanced and flavours are nice. If you order the tuna it will come 'seared' and therefore pink in the middle - if thats not how you like it then ask them to cook it a little longer when you order. They will also serve you with a bread round and some homemade pate to try and we found these to be really lovely. The terrace is heated during the off-seasons and as good as being inside so a good choice even then. We liked the fact that they didn't feel the need to hustle us when reading the menu unlike other places and the waiter remembering us and saying good morning the following day when we were walking to the bus was very pleasant. If you are looking for fresh home cooking then you cannot beat this place.

Excellent service, v friendly waiting staff. Food was pretty average, received complimentary fish pate and cheese before our starters, a nice touch. The long bench seating with long cushion seats you too high at your table, once I moved to a chair it was much more comfortable, starters of grilled prawns were good, I had sea bass served on some potato and veg. The fish was nice bit rest was quite oily husband had lamb and it was ok but thankfully the rosemary sauce came separately on the side as neither of us liked it. A couple across from us seemed to be raving about the food, personally we thought it was average.

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this lovely restaurant. We were given the tuna pate as well which was very tasty. Our mains were all delicious as well. I had the soup of the day and the lobster linguini. Both fresh tasting and excellent. This was our most expensive meal but when you do the conversion, it's no more than you would pay for a nice meal at home.
