Our stay in Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa was absolutely lovely. My husband and I booked a week stay with half board meal option and we were never disappointed. Breakfasts and dinners were always very good. A lot of choices, everything very fresh and warm. One of the best buffet style restaurants I have ever eaten at. It got a bit crowded during the meal hours but we have never had any problem finding a free table.
We also had dinner once in nearby hotel from the same company in a restaurant located directly on the beach. Even without reservation we were able to get a great beach front located table. Food was a bit pricey but the surroundings were very pleasant and quality of food worth it.
Our room with sea view was big, modern and very clean. Everything was working and the only time we had a little issue with hot water, help was sent very fast and problem was fixed immediately.
We spent most of our time by the beach so I can't say much about pool and other facilities but a few times we ordered snacks and drinks in the pool bar staff was always very helpful and friendly.
Also, my husband was using spa a few times and was always very pleased with the service. But it is better to plan your spa day in advance because it is quite popular and reservation is needed.
The location of this hotel was great, close to the beach and not too far if you want to walk to the town center. Big private parking is provided.
Overall, very nice stay in relaxing atmosphere. Thank you!

Our first impression at the arrival was that Elaphusa was more a 'business' hotel...but we were wrong . The personnel and staff make the difference . Very nice , always friendly , customer - orientated and problem solving . Our sincere congratulations for making our stay one of the most relaxing we ever had ! Very large wellness department in the hotel.Always friendly and open for information without pushy sales-talks.The room we had was a bit small for a 4 person family room also because we had no balcony. The sleeping sofa in the room was not big enough nor comfortable for our 2 sons. After we mentioned this at the reception desk , about an hour later we had an extra separate bed in our room (customer orientated and problem solving remember ..) Room was a bit dated but always very clean and at the end you just use it to sleep , so no problem for us . Nice cocktail bar (Bolero bar) outside the hotel with a magnificent view . Fitness room is well equipped . Nice range and variations at the food buffet . Especially the meat was excellent , not very obvious on an island..Little details make the difference : hotel uses herbs from their own garden , like thyme for their cocktails,..We also really enjoyed the car rent that was made possible by the person at the hotel reception desk to explore the island.Could rent a nice 200hp Audi convertible for a day for 85 euro ! The Zlatni Rat beach was too crowded for us but other people will like it . Perfect connection to the old city of Bol via a walk path just outside the hotel (photo). Maybe there are 2 points I could mention as positive and constructive remarks : 1. Offer a welcoming drink for newly arrived guests.
2. Did a lot of swimming in the pool and often wondered what time it was --> Maybe there's room for a big clock at the pool ?

For the rest , our biggest compliments for Blue Sun Elaphusa , you made our holiday exceptional !!

Great location, very clean, helpful staff, lovely pool, stunning views. Large selection on offer at breakfast although some may not enjoy the large canteen like dining experience. Amenities were often in use with people queuing. The aircon was very hit & miss (depending on the precise position of the closed patio doors) and the Wi-Fi was slow at best but unusable for a lot of the time.

My husband, daughter and I have just spent a lovely week here staying at the Elaphusa. We had transfers booked from the airport which worked well. The hotel is very large but found this did not detract from our holiday. all the staff were very polite and helpful particularly the driver from the airport to the ferry. Our room had a nice balcony and a bit of a sea view. The room was clean and there was enough room for the three of us. We were on half board. There was plenty of fruit and salad for both meals. There was lots of choice and I felt there was enough for those who do not like meat. We always sat outside on the terrace and had a sea view . It always felt more atmospheric outside than in the main dining room. The pool was fine but sometimes later in day it was hard to find a sun lounger near the pool. We enjoyed an evening bowling. The terrace bar was pleasant . We didn't use the spa as the weather was too good.
I didn't use the gym although it looked well equipped as it did not open until eight. Instead I went running along the beautiful promenade that runs from Zlatni Rat to Bol. That was wonderful . We spent most days on Zlatni Rat and used the sun loungers and parasols. The water was clear and very calm. One side of the beach has more breeze than the other. It was very crowded but we were there in August! I had beach shoes which were great for getting in and out of the water as it was a stony beach. We snorkelled a bit. There was a fun inflatable something like total wipeout that my husband and daughter tried which was a laugh. One day I sat at the beach near the Borak hotel which was ok but felt a bit claustrophobic although we enjoyed the restaurant down there.
My husband and daughter went diving with the Big Blue diving that is part of the Complex and they found them to be professional and enjoyed it.
Best of all the weather was fantastic, hot and sunny every day, the views were fab and the promenade was lovely for walking along to Bol.
We had a great time and will definitely return

Room Tip: Superior sea view
