They may want to be 4-star, but it appears to be getting a little old. We stayed here one night. The first room we were in had defective air conditioning and a broken phone (which is OK except when the AC does not work). After complaining and having them check it out, they agree to move us to another room. This second room was much better, in that both the AC and the phone worked. The room was a little strange, however. First, there was no closet, just a hat rack on which to hang your clothes. Second, there was a window between the shower and the bedroom, with a window shade. Not sure what the designer was thinking. Maybe if there is nothing on TV? Or, maybe if you want to watch TV from the shower?
So, I would probably give it one star for the first room and maybe call it three stars for the second room (with working AC and phone).
Maybe if you pay more you get a better room (and my tour company did not?). I would not stay here again, unless I was sure that I booked a better room.
The hotel may have free WiFi, but I was unable to get email or the internet anywhere in China, probably because the government blocks it.More
