The hotel was very good and reasonably priced for RIO
Staff friendly, reception and bedroom excellent we had a great breakfast.
The hotel being on the beach front is close to everything, use taxis and Uber is a good option.
We went by car, but hotel has no parking,
But there are closed parking options nearby.
If you don’t know RIO then use alternative transport, Metro VLT taxis and Uber.
It will be cheaper and safer

We spent a fantastic 5 nights at the Windsor Leme.

On arrival (10 am), a very friendly member of the reception team quickly got us a room. This room was perfectly fine, but we'd set our hearts on a high floor, so I went to request it. It wasn't a problem and we were swiftly moved to the top floor, with a free upgrade! The room was huge, modern and quiet (we never heard another door on the floor or other guests through the walls - a pet hate of mine!) My boyfriend was in his element getting the Premiership on the TV in the room (me, not so much!) Thank you Windsor Leme! It completely made our trip! With panoramic views of Copacabana beach, we could literally spend an age watching the world go by below us.

Similarly, the rooftop pool was fantastic, especially after a morning exploring in the heat. Even though our stay coincided with the Independence Day holiday, the pool and bar area never got too busy and beds or tables were always available.

Prices in both the roof bar and the restaurant on the ground floor were reasonable given the location.

Breakfast was varied and plentiful, including a pancake/omelette station with chef.

Thanks for such a memorable stay!

I recently stayed here with my young family and we all loved staying here.

We arrived very late at night after flying for almost 24 hours. Missed flight connections etc etc.

Check in was easy especially at 2 am. 2 kids 8 and 10. we had an extra bed in our room and it was fine. enough space for us. Room had views of the Christ and the urban sprawl at the back.

The views from the rooftop pool and bar are excellent. I only wish I spent more time there. The pool was nice ... the kids had fun. Took some great photos of the famous stretch of beach from up there.

Breakfast was good. Lovely selection of fruit and a good omelette station.

The staff were always very nice.

The area is safe. The beach is quieter at the leme end which is nice. Walking around on the main strip at night to dinner etc felt safe. We didn't venture out inland too much at night time. A few good food options around the hotel. We liked Joaquina... the food felt authentic.

We caught Uber's everywhere and it was fantastic. Cars are always clean. no dramas with cash and language.

Great stay overall and I would recommend staying here.

R10 uber ride to the night markets in Copacabana or you could walk there along the main strip.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We had a window looking out at the beach. The hotel is located at the north end of the beach but it was easy to walk the entire beach on the paved walk. We felt safe there. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool on the roof was heated and the view from there both day and night was fantastic!

My first stay in Brazil. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast fabulous. All the concierge staff speak English and are most helpful. A bonus for me as I don't speak Spanish or Portuguese. It has an awesome view of the beach d
From the 19th floor and you can just see Christ the redeemer statue in the distance behind the hotel. It's has an ATM nearby in another hotel lobby. There is an excellent supermercado and a number of chemists nearby also.
