Expensive and exclusive - especially if you arrive at night - great setting for a James Bond film. Intriguing layout in tropical gardens and appealing rustic chalets with a jungle background. Strong smell of cleaning products when we entered our chalet - which always means warning signals!! Sure enough, during the night(s) there were strange scratching noises in the roof and high-pitched. screeching noises - from BATS. The following night when we arrived late we actually found “bat poo” on a bed and the chalet didn’t smell good at all. (The cockroach in the bathroom didn’t make us any happier either). The staff were professional, including the kind boatsmen that took us to and fro to our yacht. The choice of breakfast was ordered according to a verbal standard menu - everything was fresh, no complaints there. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant so we can’t comment on the food or the service.
