We had a great stay. The people working there really went out of their way to help us with any issues that arose and made us feel at home. Breakfast was good, the room clean, with a great shower and a nice view. I recommend it!
It's reasonably close to the city centre and with a nice, colonial-style ambience.

The Hotel has everything you would expect from a 4 star at a 3 star price. The breakfast was excellent, friendly service, parking for my bike and much more. I would definitely recomment. #travelersonly

The hotel is downhill from the main square and the hills are very steep in ouro preto. A taxi was cheap from the main bus station.

The room was fine. Note no air conditioning although this we did not find a problem as temperature and humidity were comfortable. The shower took some working out as could only get hot water. Then realised the next day there was a setting on the unit above the shower for summer and winter. The summer setting made it more comfortable. Some instruction on this would have been helpful.

We are british and note none of the staff speak english though they try to be helpful through google translate.

Breakfast was sufficient. The pool was a disappointment. After a hot day in town was looking forward to it. It is only small but would be fine but on visiting it looked not full and the water had contaminents. Looked as though not being filtered or kept full. Did not go in.

We had a two night stay and there was no housekeeping so bed not made, towels replenished etc.

Overall a bit disappointing and unless on a restricted budgey maybe try somewhere near the main square

Ouro Preto is a very beautiful place. This hotel offers reasonable accommodation at a good price.
It has a small pool And steam room. The rooms have doors To The outside. They are spacious, although a bit dark And The bathroom was tiny.
Breakfast was usual for Brazil.
The staff were helpful And there was car parking space.
The main square is a short walk, but up a very steep incline!!

nice old high ceiling hotel, good beds, beautiful doors and windows.
Only down side; it was colder inside then outside.
Location is good, breakfast average, which is a surprise because the Mineiros are well known for their large selection of food.
