Friendly, inviting and comfortable. Situated 5 minute walk from beach and village centre. Well appointed with pool and bar. Breakfast traditional Brazilian, fruit, tapioca, cheese ham, cakes and bread. After breakfast relax by the pool then out for the day and return to the pool with a cervaja and the heavy discussion of where to go for dinner. Nowhere is more than five minute walk, so no problem finding your way back if you stay out for too many beers. Village atmosphere is very relaxing all restaurant and bar staff are chatty if you want to chat. And most certainly one of the best off the beaten track resorts I have been to. Access to the village is either a 12 km drive along the beach and you really are at the waters edge, or you can do a shorter route 6 Kms over the sand dunes, easy to get misplaced but they are always others around to put you right. Well worth the effort.

- Room/bathroom always clean.
- Breakfast could be improved if taken inside with AC (really hot outside to drink coffe/tea).
- AC is a must and it was working perfectly.
- Paraguayan Hammock (hamaca paraguaya) was perfect to read a book

Nice place, a little bit far from the beach. When we arrived the place was in the middle of a blackout, no generator, no water, no solution. Lights came back only next evening. Normal breakfast and bedroom. Could be worse. Could be cheaper. I don't know if I would return if I had the chance.

We spent 4 nights at pousada Maxitalia and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped, with a small terrace. The staff was also friendly and helpful.
The pousada is located at the edge of Jeri, which isn't a problem as the village is quite small. A huge benefit is the nice pool.
We definitely recommend this pousada.
