Together with my wife, we stayed for 3 months in the flat located on the third floor.
The location of the home was very good. The neighbourhood was safe and secure. Excellent beaches. Good shops. Good public transport.
As the owner of the flat lived in Rio de Janeiro, during that time, our contact person was Daniel, who lived in the opposite building. We maintained the contact with him on the internet. He was very helpful.
We regularly washed our cloths in the vertical washing machine. The cloths dried easily on the balcony within the same day.
Twice, the water supply was indicated to be disrupted, but we did not even notice these occassions. The other utilities were constantly supplied without problems. We did not have to pay for them, they were included into the rent.
Although, there was a purifying device equipped into the running water system of the kitchen, we purchased canned mineral water and this was used as drinking water and as raw material for making tea.
Practically, we did not use the kitchen. Usually, we had breakfast in the nearby Marazul Hotel and we had lunch/dinner either in the city or in the countryside.
With the help of the modern Samsung TV set, we were able to watch about five different local or regional TV stations.
The wireless internet worked properly. It was our main means of communication. We were connected to the rest of the world and to our family via our notebook.
Suggestions: We think that the upholstery of the furniture and the curtain would be replaced and the walls (as well as the doors) would need repainting. In such a way, the overall impression of the flat might be upgraded.
All in all: what we got from the rental matched our expectations.
