My husband & I booked a lovely superior room at this amazing hotel and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The entire hotel is CHIC AF! Such old world glam & elegance down to the beautifully tiled floors of the lobby & bar/restaurant, gorgeous hardwood floors of the hallways & room, fabulous light fixtures, and amazing rooftop pool, bar, & lounge area. Sunset cocktails on the roof were always a treat. They even had a good little gym! The bar & restaurant was also great which I will review separately but that is where we had the delicious continental breakfast every morning. The breakfast was well stocked with plenty of food (meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, juices, etc). The room was absolutely gorgeous and roomy with a HUGE bathroom. Everything is so simple & elegant. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, soap, & body lotion. We were on a high floor with views of the water. Couldn't hear any street noise or from other rooms.
The front desk staff was also very professional & very helpful. There was one that spoke English quite well. If ever we're back, this would be the place we'd stay again and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone going to visit Salvador!

Room Tip: high floor superior room had plenty of room with a huge bathroom

My husband and I stayed here before transferring over to the Morro De São Paolo Island. The rooms are very luxurious with all facilities. The roof top view and pool is small but beautiful. The breakfast has good options not the best for vegetarians but you can request a vegetarian omelette if you can eat eggs. The only disappointment was the guidance provided by the front desk on travelling to the Island as the transfer was not properly explained (it was boat then bus then boat again) and we ended up on a longer journey than expected. Take the Catamaran if possible.

This was our first time in Brazil and wasn’t sure what to expect. The hotel was recently renovated and they did a fantastic job the only issue would be the two small elevators. The staff and services were excellent there was a language barrier but Julio assisted us with that and he is a huge asset to that hotel. He arrange taxis and helped plan events and outings for us and recommend a number of excellent restaurants thanks Julio for making our stay enjoyable.

Mr. Ben,

We were delighted that you have chosen us for your first visit to Brazil and we are happy that you have enjoyed your stay and appreciated our revitalization.
Thank you for your feedback, the space available for the elevators is original to the 1934 building, so the size limitation.
We hope you will return soon for more days at the Fera Palace. Julio sends his regards.

Livia

The best top roof of Salvador where you can see the bay of all saints and see a wonderful sunset. The incredible bar and music make up this super nice place. Worth mentioning the decor and hotel rooms are immaculate.

Recently renovated and close to Salvador's historic center, Fera Palace is an excellent choice.

The hotel is neat and clean. The rooms are modern and comfortable.

The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. Front office manager, Julio is omnipresent, anticipating your smallest need with grace and a smile. Speaking of smiles, Natasha who serves at breakfast and lunch in the hotel's commendable restaurant has one worth traveling to Salvador for.

Sunsets from the 9th floor terrace are just as dazzling.
