Stayed one night in the original building and they did a great job with the romance package. Rose pedals in the shape of a heart on the bed with a single rose in the middle. Rose pedals in the bathroom also. Hand crafted chocolates and a bottle of wine with glasses on the table. Very friendly staff both at check in and check out. Fresh ground coffee in the room and at the front desk. Ceiling fan in the room for cooling. Will try the contemporary building next time. Will return!

On a recent trip from Seattle to Whistler, BC and back, my husband and I decided to take a slight detour to Anacortes. As I read the reviews for the Majestic Inn & Spa I was very intrigued. My husband went in to check on availability and came out to the car shortly after and asked me to come in because the pleasant lady at the front desk had a few different suggestions to offer. As we spoke to PK and Savannah, we were convinced that this inn was nothing but delightful! We chose the older, charming part of the inn rather than the newer "hotel-like" area. We were not disappointed - The room was fabulous! Clean (really clean) well appointed, charming a comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows... finally the pillows I like, not the smooshy feather ones that flatten out! The service at the restaurant (5th Street Bistro) as well as the food was excellent. Everyone we spoke to was super kind and helpful - we actually thought they were the owners as they were so caring and attentive. We live in WI and this reminds us of Door County... the whole town is pleasant, great places to eat, beautiful views and friendly people. I cannot say enough good things. Thanks for helping make our impromptu visit to Anacortes a memorable one.
Ps - Breakfast is fabulous as well - Bobi Jo is a remarkable server with a cheery and pleasant personality.

The Majestic is fabulous....good food, good drinks, good waitstaff. We were there recently with friends and their kiddos and everyone loved it. The prices are a bit high, but worth every penny. The roof top has fire pits and truly spectacular views...put this place on your list!

Love staying in this Inn. We always try and get in the original building as it has so much charm. The new building next door is also nice...but we like the charm of the old better. They have a nice restaurant and bar in the hotel, but you can also walk out the door to a host of other places to eat and drink.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location is excellent, easily walkable to many shops and restaurants in downtown Anacortes, and a 15 minute drive to the ferry for the San Juan Islands. We stayed in the new building and loved our room very much. It was spacious and even had a cozy fireplace! The French press and freshly ground coffee was a very nice touch. I have to say that the rollaway bed they brought was possibly the most comfortable I have experienced. We loved having drinks on the rooftop bar and also enjoyed taking in the views from the Cupolla on the older building. This is definitely the place to stay in Anacortes.
