Lobby was welcoming and trendy. Room was average. I let the Hilton App pick our room, Sometimes as a Diamond member, I’ll get an upgrade or a better view. Not this time… our view was of a brick wall a few feet from our window (Room 204). It was like we were in a basement. Room was clean and served the purpose for a one night stay.

Airport shuttle (parked out front) does not start trips to DCA until 7:00 AM; not good for an early morning flight.

Parking was not convenient. $18 to park on the 4th floor of a parking garage a 5 minute walk away.

The surrounding area is very nice and convenient with restaurants, a movie theater and grocery store, all within walking distance from the hotel.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Dodge a bullet by choosing a different hotel. Bought $90 worth of groceries including a brand new 40 oz Hydroflask of Whole Foods and it was stolen while we were out while the housekeeping was “cleaning the room.” When we complained to reception , their response was “Next time don’t leave your valuables in your room,” and refused to repay the value of the stolen goods. Horrible customer service - they didn’t even pretend to care. They blame me for leaving thing in the room instead of taking care of their issues internally and properly train their employees. No Manager to take care of issues on week ends.

This hotel is in a great location. The desk help is very good. You just want to make sure you get a room away from the traffic. Rooms are clean and the hotel is fairly priced. Parking is a bit of a pain because you have a bit of a walk to the hotel. Great places to eat and drink nearby.

Nice area; all built up since I lived there. This was a stay required because of a cancelled flight. Fairly convenient location, though not as convenient as nearby-Crystal City. Good night-manager at desk, but he was a bit harried from having to do too many things.
Room was good; but hard to judge overall value since I did not pay - an airline did. Two annoying things, though: 1) TV did not work; the usual cable hassle where it's either not connected; or too complicated to full around with and access stations on their particular provider's directions. 2) Should be a READING light directly over the bed (both sides); that can be switched on and off while lying there. Having to get up and turn off some other light is a hassle.
