Form and no function.

Arrived after a 10.5hr 422 mile journey to find the hotel front desk lethargic and indifferent. Mr. xxxxxx at 5.42 pm on July 9th was looking down the whole time and waived us toward the back, saying your room is there after a 32% surcharge for incidentals which is the highest charged fee in our 1200 mile journey.

Based on the fee I anticipated the service would also be exemplary. I chalked the poor front desk reception as being tired.

After coming back to the front desk from our openable window less room to ask for a room change I noticed the front desk was completely different with the patrons who came in. They were of a different race or maybe their money is a different version. After waiting and then asking for a room swap I was dismissed immediately as Mr. xxxxxx stated that the hotel is full. The rooms beside us were empty the whole of our stay. No function from the front desk, a computer would have been better and not bigoted.

Tried to move the bags in via the bell hop cart but it had a flat tire. Of course no help from the hotel. No function again.

The room air conditioning ran at 85 dB with peaks at 95 dB at the bed which is 7 inches away from the motor. No help from the hotel, no function again just form.

The bathroom leaked from the faucet as the o ring was broken. This was not something we wanted fixed due to covid but no one checked the room.

There were hand prints on the wall, dirt in the bathroom and beds which were dusty. Again form but no function.

Pet urine in the elevators and stains. No covid compliance to cleaning at all.

Upon leaving the staff did not ask about our stay, the hotel cares about money and certain ethnicities. If you have a family or care about a hotel with hospitality find another as this will be the worse of your experience, I know in 1200 miles this was the poorest!

It is clear this hotel is in financial trouble. Very understaffed- check in person is bell hop. Only 1 restaurant open and closed on Sundays at 6pm. Restaurant hostess is waitress and hotel check in. They can’t make change for a $20 at front desk because they have no cash. No cold water for sale- and all purchases have to be charged to room. NO place on or outside hotel to walk dog. NO Grass anywhere! Very disappointed.
