The duck boat was a lot of fun to do with friends. They gave out these duck squeakers which was a lot of fun. Only word of caution is definitely don't go when it's chilly out. A freak cold spell had us out on the duck boat when it was close to 40 degrees F, and it was miserable. But we had a great driver who empathized with us and took us back to our hotel a little early.

Great for young kids/families. Historical facts are lacking replaced by jokes. Passengers knew more interesting information. Sites were a quick ride through Downtown Austin. Saw more just by driving around ourselves. Enters waterway by Walsh Boat Landing as you pass by Mozart's Coffee Roasters (you won't see Congress Bridge). You see a lot of jet skiers, motor boats, party boats, beautiful lakeside mansions and that's about it.

Austin Duck Adventures is a fun thing to do. Our driver/guide was clever and informative. A former school teacher, he could really TALK. Would recommend this trip to anybody.

This amphibious Duck was fun to take off road onto Lake Austin. The day was very hot, but the breeze coming off the lake made the trip worthwhile. There are lots of beautiful homes on the lake perimeter, and you get to keep the Quacker when you are back at the Duck House. Stop inside at the Gift Shop for Austin memorabilia and post cards. I bought a dozen Texas Chewie Pecan Pralines for the folks back home...yummy!
