Last night I celebrated my birthday day at Bridget’s. This was our first time eating there. Fortunately for us, we were able to take advantage of the prixfixe menu that was in place to celebrate restaurant week. For $38.00, we selected an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert...great deal!
My husband and I chose the salmon dinner, which came on top a bed of asparagus and orzo. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The honey mustard wine glaze made for a perfect pairing with the salmon. Know that we are not huge honey mustard fans, but the subtle flavoring made for a very delicious salmon.
My dad’s filet mignon was cooked to the temperature of his liking and so tender that he was able to cut it with a butter knife.
The desserts were incredible! I chose the espresso flavored cheesecake...Just incredible with a hint of espresso flavoring and so creamy. The others enjoyed their desserts of bananas foster and bread pudding. In all honesty, I thought the espresso cheesecake took the “yellow jersey!”
We’d definitely recommend you try Bridget’s. We will certainly be enjoying another meal there again soon.
