My husband and I recently stayed here for the weekend and the service and rooms were fantastic! The suite was incredibly clean and comfortable and truly had all the comforts of home in the room. One could easily live there for an extended period of time, if need be, as it is as well equipped as a small apartment would be. The bed was also very comfortable and the staff were always going out of their way to be helpful if we needed anything. We needed ice for a small cooler and the receptionist let my husband go into their kitchen area and fill his cooler. We were also leaving early and another receptionist let us get some food from the breakfast area to take with us, which was very nice. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to other!!

Amy at the front desk was genuinely friendly and accommodating. She was a big help with a minor mishap in the lobby. Adrienne was on the desk at check out the next morning and advised us that breakfast was ready even though we were leaving before breakfast was to start. Overall everything but the mattress on the pull out was great.

We stayed in their 2 bedroom suite for one night on our way to New York. Very nice and clean room and hotel. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of room in the bedrooms and living room. Close to nice restaurants and winery. Breakfast was very good served on plates and silverware, not plastic.

Visited this hotel for an overnight stay while visiting the area to run Lehigh Valley Marathon. The check in was quick and the lady was kind enough to allow us a late checkout (2pm) at no extra cost. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

THE GOOD
1. Great price
2. Ample secure parking
3. Very Very clean and quiet
4. Ample towels
5. Great kitchennette area
6. Close to many restaurants and attractions

CHANCE FOR IMPROVEMENT
1. Breakfast options could improve
2. The eggs felt soggy like water had poured on them

in August 2015 I researched hotels "near" Dorney Park, that had a suite for 2 adults and 1 child with a kitchen. After reading all the positive reviews on the hotel website we decided to make reservations.
First of all, as we drove there, Dorney Park became at least 20 minutes away (with no traffic). The hotel is not exactly located in Allentown, but a town called Folgelville/Treixlertown. It is located behind a gas station, and trucks/trailers are parked behind.

Check in was ok, however, we were assigned to a room a long walking distance from the front door. This probably wouldn't be a problem for most but, MY SON & I ARE DISABLED!!! This was just the beginning of all our ISSUES ! Here they are:
1. As we opened the door the room, 302, the odor was very musty and old.
2. The Sofa and chairs were filled with dirt and huge white spots.
The Sofa was in very poor condition and was in desperate need of replacement.
**When I called the front desk to request a room change, they said there was nothing available, and room can be changed tomorrow. I requested several heavy blankets and sheets. I used them to thickly cover up the sofa and chairs
3. The sink in the master bath was fully clogged
4. Long strands of blonde hair was found on top of bed linen and on a towel.
5. The bed/mattress was absolutely uncomfortable to sleep on. No matter which of the 3 we tried.

Our room was changed the next day to Room 103, and here we go again:
1. The sofa and chairs were once again, so filthy, we had to call the "Head of Housekeeping". She confirmed they were very dirty, took the kitchen chair and promised to clean/return it the next day. She once again, bought thick blankets in to cover the warped sofa.
2. Another hair was found in the bathroom
3. Horrible beds!!

**HOUSEKEEPING NEEDS IMPROVING. GUESTS STAYING LESS THAN 7 DAYS BE AWARE THERE IS MINIMUM HOUSEKEEPING DONE TO YOUR ROOM.** they were in our suite less than 5 minutes.

Besides the issues with the rooms, the POOL, was also a major negative. Early in the morning or anytime thereafter, the water in the pool was sooo...... cloudy!! Also, the chlorine smell was strong enough to make you dizzy.

I paid a generous $249/night. I am embarrassed to say now. I usually do not write reviews but, I wished someone had shared truthful reviews for me to go by. As seasoned travelers, we have stayed in all levels of hotels. A suggestion to Management of Staybridge Suites: the rooms on this property need serious updating and attention. We checked out early because of our low level of comfort.

Room Tip: 3rd floor hall smells like cigarette smoke, stay away from Room 302
