-Room is dirt cheap for theater season in Ashland. Paid significantly less than local prices.
-Motel is in a safe area.
-Market of Choice is nearby. Excellent food but expensive.
-Queen beds.
-Check-in is pleasant.
-Clientele is mostly theater tourists in March.

-Room is pretty dated.
-Room is also not kept in great shape. There are marks on walls and floors, and dirty residue in showers. Some scratches in tub.
-Internet is spotty.
-Shower hot water is limited to about 6 minutes. Will be very tough for families.
-Upper level ice machine was broken.
-Parking is limited and if you are late you will be in the pizza place parking next door.
-Breakfast is bulk orange juice, english muffins, and brown bananas.

Prices are great if you really, really want to see a play on a budget. But I get the feeling of a place that puts no effort into their establishment and keeping rooms fairly clean should be a priority. I won't be back.

A great value in Ashland. My room was extremely well equipped, with microwave, good sized fridge, decent cable TV, ironing board/iron, shampoo/conditioner, Kleenex, retro decor-- even an electric blanket. There is a pizza place literally next door, with restaurants and grocery nearby. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is 7 minutes away by car.

Pleasant check in process. I'd caution people with pets - they charge extra. Also strictly no smoking.

The Timbers Motel is my go to place to stay in Ashland. This older motel is right across the street from Southern Oregon University. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, staff is friendly, easy parking, many restaurants and a grocery store very close by. You can spend lots more money and stay in a fancy place in Ashland or you can save your money for dinner or a play or some art work and stay at Timbers. Rates do go up in summer and at college graduation times.

Room Tip: Upstair rooms are quieter but then you have to walk up stairs to them.

They didn't care about our situation to offer a better rate, there were empty pizza pie boxes under the bed and while they claim continental breakfast, we were not offered any. Cars run by constantly, it's not the quietest place. The guy who was on shift Sunday night was pretentious.

Room Tip: Try somewhere else first.

K SO There was like mystery goo on the walls and ceilings but it's ok cause it didn't smell and I didn't touch it so we Gucci. The beds were decent. The shower had hair in it and I don't think the bathrooms were properly cleaned but that's ok because I accidentally flooded the bathroom so they clean now you're welcome. I hoarded cocoa cause like free cocoa and they gave complimentary muffins. I didn't get one cause my boyfriend insisted we leave early like twice in a row each year so that was disappointing but whatevs I got cocoa. The pool is cold af but it's Oregon so who cares really? Like who goes to Oregon to swim that's like going to new York for Californian rolls. WEIRD. Cold af don't trust the pool no matter how inviting it is. They still clean out the pool for whatever reason even tho I'm pretty sure no one goes in it. DANK af complimentary foods and stuff and free hygiene products. Noisy drunks tend to be outside yelling about college football tho. Idk what it is about Oregon and college football, be warned tons of talk about college football. I'd stay there again.

Room Tip: Wait till they're cleaning the pool to get cocoa
