Me and my partner arrived at the hotel at just gone midnight we pulled up outside to see it looked lovely.... we then went to check to and had issues with staff who spoke virtually no English. When arrived at our room we didn't realise how bad it was until the next day when it was daylight! We had mould in the bathroom the electric box was open! A burn in the lampshade which didn't work, the hairdryer lead had been cut so didn't work, the wardrobe wouldn't close one side and the side with the safe didnt open! Only sky world news in English on the tele! Which also had no volume control so couldn't turn it up or down. The cleaners were barley existent they missed days and when they did come to 'clean' if that's what you can call it they kept forgetting to replace towels and toilet roll! The whole atmosphere of the hotel was horrible we felt very intimidated and would get stared at like we was something of disgust no one spoke English and there was only one other English couple in the hotel which said the same as us. The food was repetitive and not labelled only ate there 3 times due to lack of hygiene and not knowing what anything was. We also saw the hotels beach bar lady drop food on the way to the beach and pick it up and put it back on her tray to be served!! All in all this is the worst holiday and hotel me and my partner have ever been and I'd avoid at all costs! Nothing like the pictures and should be shut down!

Arrived at 2am only to be told they had no rooms but they would take us to a better hotel 5mins away. They called us what they said was a cab! What a joke. The cab was a golf buggy and we literally was holding on for our life and our suitcases as it was up and down the most steepest of hills going. So we arrived in this so called hotel. We was literally the only English there and no staff could speak it either. You could see the difference the way the locals got treated to us English. We decided to go back to the rosso verde hotel and demanded they found us a room there as it looked to be the better one. BIG MISTAKE. Filth pit. The restaurant was gross. Last nights dinners on floor still the next day. Food was disgusting. Flies everywhere. Chef lit a cigarette whilst flipping burgers in the snack bar. Room wasn't up to much either. It stank of mould in the bathroom. Air conditioning unit cldnt be used as too noisy and would keep dripping out water. No fresh towels daily,When trying to communicate with reception we had to use google translate as again no one can speak English. Our 5th day a young English couple arrived, so there was 4 of us Brits there then. We actually felt quite intimidated and No one could understand why on earth on the beach would be using this hotel on their site as it is known for just being a hotel for locals. Rude or what. No good if you can't handle steep hills or steps as there is hundreds of them to deal with every day. No entertainment what so ever. Wouldn't be any good anyway as we can't speak Turkish !!! Had to eat out every day and waste of time paying for all inclusive. Would not give this 2 stars let alone 4 as they seem to think it is. You have been warned. Good luck if you are booked in this hell hole.

I recently returned from a holiday at Rosso Verde which was meant to be a relaxing break away with my friend, it turned out to be the worst holiday either of us have ever experienced.
Room was not ready when we arrived. An hour later our room was provided to us, upon arrival to our room a man was in our shower drilling. Food not labelled therefore you never knew what you was eating, bad for someone with allergies. The food itself was inedible. Hotel never advised us of where the restaurant or pool was, only provided a grey/black bit of paper with black text giving us the times of the food.
Shower flooded, water did not drain, door got stuck when inside the shower which meant I had to break myself out of the shower. Stains in the beds, holes in the curtains, dirty floors, vents hanging off the walls, toilet did not flush and this was only our first room. We ended up moving rooms 4 times, each room the same. The showers changed from scalding hot to freezing cold constantly.
Hotel staff did not speak or understand English, we had to use Google translator to communicate with the hotel, in which none of our issues were resolved.
We were not advised by our hotel that we had a holiday rep.
During the earthquakes we experienced whilst we were in Turkey, we were placed in the car park throughout the entire night. We were sitting in the car park as directed from 2am until 7.30am. We were not offered anything such as a blanket until around 5am and a drink until 7am.
We reviewed the hotel using trip adviser before we left and only saw positive comments, all of which were not true in our experience.
Hotel views over the ocean were amazing, unfortunately that was the only positive of the whole holiday.

I came here to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a holiday with my partner.
The plane was delayed due to technical issue, thats ok,so after 6hrs of flight time all we wanted to have a shower and sleep.
When we arrived at the reception,no one was speaking english, once we got our room it was a disaster.
First it wasnt a room for a 4* hotel, smelled like an ashtray, dirty no balcony.
We reserved this hotel because the view to the bay and the room we saw online.
Well the view was there but the room...not even close...maybe for a 2-3star hotel.
Beach for this hotel is a joke...its not a sandy beach its feels like the end of the road and they put sunbeads there, also the person who is at the beachbar no habla english.
We needed to ask for fresh towels....food was ok however it was mostly the same.
Like tomato soup all week, all day, bfast, lunch and dinner.
Fruits was ok...fruit drinks tasted liked sweetened color water.
The fresh orange juice in Gumbet was much better.
No info regarding the checkout time on arrival and also the times for the food service.
If you like hiking come here as atleast you will have 160 steps from the lobby to your room and then to the dining area and to the pool.
I dont recommend this hotel at all.
Also who gives 5star for this hotel in reviews I would like to ask them are they turkish or not as you can only enjoy it if you are turkish due to the language barrier and etc.

Where do I start with this so called hotel.

The staff: Firstly the staff are miserable and can barely offer a smile. English is not understood and often the staff just walk away muttering Turkish words and do not return. The most simplest of requests seemed to be an absolute chore! The majority of the hotel guests are Turkish, which was not an issue, it was the difference in the way you were treated that was evident and this happened on several occasions and was witnessed by each individual in my party. Staff would stare and talk amongst themselves and smirk. Not a pleasant experience.

The room: we were not aided down the mammoth number of steep steps that this hotel had despite making a request for a porter, however we were told that there was not anyone available and we were in a block which was very far from the hotel. So it took us some time to navigate around all this in the height of the Turkish summer. The room was tiny and had a very bad damp smell. On first inspection the floor was filthy with stains and marks on the side of the walls. The bathroom had mould all around the sides and the shower door was not sealed and let all the water out. The air conditioning kept playing up despite the 'technical team' trying to assist. The beds were rock hard and towards the end of our stay we all felt restless with our bodies aching. Housekeeping was non existent and we literally had to stop staff and tell them to at least provide us with fresh towels. The room was cleaned only twice during our week stay. The fridge barely kept anything cold. The tv did not also work despite reporting it several times. Wifi did not work for at least three days and on querying this we were told that they cannot help and to go and use wifi at the local restaurants- extremely rude! They have no additional services and no iron anywhere in the hotel.

All inclusive: the fruit juices were harsh and seemed cheap. The food was never labelled and there was a lot of repetition. Most of the meat dishes looked extremely undercooked so we were worried to try most of it. The food was bland.

Location: very far from the centre of Bodrum and Gumbet. One local store next to the hotel but very steep prices.

Another note: I am a little sceptical of the recent reviews left for this hotel. There are at least four which praise this hotel and have only ever left one review and they seem to be from the UK. However this may be a ploy to lure more British tourists in. But I will leave it at this and warn you not to risk staying here. The staff really ruined the holiday, unpleasant and not helpful at all. The pictures also uploaded are nothing like the reality. You have been warned!
