We had beef skewers (excellent!), the Silantro burrito and the wings. All were good and the service was fast! At 700 pesos it was a steal!

We frequent Silantro as a go to place for a quick afternoon snack. Round the clock the place place is crowded and queue is a norm. The place is jam packed with students and group of friends hanging out.
The service may vary depending on how busy the place is. There are times when our orders are served right away but more often that we have to wait for 10 minutes of more. Food is not served all at the same time especially when ordering paella. Flavors are inconsistent at times. Paella need not be on your things to try. Look for other options instead.
The nachos are mainstay in our order. It goes well with the unlimited dips that they provide. The burritos and quesadillas are okay. Very filling and can be shared by 2 to 3 people.
Prices are affordable - no wonder it is a popular choice in UP Town Center. 200 pesos per head budget will let you leave with your stomachs full.

The owner's of Silantro found the perfect niche in the crowded restaurant business. The mexican restaurant with a Filipino twist is just about what the Filipino palate is looking for. This place is always jampacked at any given time. The staffs here are efficient , the food is superb . The most popular dish here is the nachos. Other must try is the burritos and the soft shell tacos with lamb, fish , oxtail and beef toppings to choose from. I also like the avocado shake. This place is family friendly and the price is surprisingly affordable.

We were always curious about the food at Silantro. Given the very long wait times everytime we see it, I know they are on to something. Luckily enough, we were able to secure seats during a weekday. :-). It was totally worth the wait, I must say. The burritos and the quezadillas are very good!
