Best beef nachos and chicken for only 180 pesos each! You have to pay for the service fee through. However, the serving was generous. I ate with my friend, and we did not even consumed all our food. I would totally recommend this place to anybody, especially to those who are fond of Mexican food.

Pro tip: You should go here before dinner, unless you want to be stuck in a long queue of people!

Silantro is a popular restaurant so it is important to come early to avoid the long lines. We enjoyed the different dishes, they were all savoury--the tasty ribs, the tender lamb, the fresh vegetable salad, the delicious nacho salad and the grilled fish. The paella was a bit disappointing because it was mostly rice (few pieces of chicken and clams) although the rice tasted good. Service was friendly and fast.

Your patience will be tested with the long queue of people but it's definitely worth it. The staff are friendly. The food is great with affordable prices and big servings. For a group of 4 persons, we only spent P1250.00 for two viands and some drinks. Don't forget to order the famous liempo.

Visited Silantro with the family for dinner. The queue was long but the receptionists were pleasant. Waited for almost an hour for a table.
We ordered the famous beef nachos which was good and was wiped out right away. I guess we were really hungry by then. The pork ribs came next which were dry and bland. Then the paella, quite tasty though the rice was mushy. Also ordered the rib eye steak, the priciest item on the menu at P750, which was very disappointing as it was hard and chewy.
The service was ok and the price modest.
All in all, we were glad to have tried Silantro but I doubt we'll wait for another chance to eat there again.

I found out what the hype was about over the weekend. Why lines are perennially long at Silantro (our wait time was a little under an hour).

The staff are a model of courtesy and service. Warm and welcome all the way - from listing your names to being seated, served and upon bill out - consistently good customer service. Kudos to management.

Every table comes with condiment bowls containing their chimichurri sauce, sour cream and chili sauce (a real zinger). We ordered the chicken wings (caliente) - six whole pieces, balanced flavors (sweet, salty/umami, tiny hint of sour and spicy that doesn't kick but crawls slowly up your taste buds. It came with a mountain of greens piled on top.

The grilled marlin came with their eponymous sauce, lemon and Mexican buttered rice - perfect combination. The fish was juicy, grilled just right.

We also had a salad and mojitos. Total bill came out to under P 600. A real steal. Will definitely return to try the other platters.
