Fantastic ambience and nice place. A good place to relax
We stopped here after a long day for a decent meal, and were not disappointed.
Mussels were just great. Served with soggy bread though - a bit of a shame.
Shrimp bisque. Excellent - can't fault except the bread
Beef Bourguignon - outstanding. Potatoes we also excellent but served stone cold
The place is very nicely furnished, immaculately clean, and clearly the manager or owner has an eye for details.
So why didn't they have any wine? This is frankly ridiculous for a restaurant of this caliber. All they had was beer and coffee. They also had no mustard, or salt and pepper on tables. Most disappointing for a "French" restaurant. They therefore failed to sell us four ribeye steaks. Instead we spent a considerable amount less, and didn't drink, except for water.
Just some constructive criticism of this potentially awesome place, which is well worth a visit but will take my own wine and bread next time if I return.
