For a change, Spanish style of cuisine. The cochinillo is the star of the day! Love it. Paella mix of seafood is dry for my taste, I say Samba is way ahead. The liempo is crunchy and I give it a thumbs up! If u are a lengua fan, this is for u, it is very tender. The desserts are not so sweet. Just filling. Overall, passable. The service is good but not for long, waiters look impatient for people to leave their table specially if it took so long, without any customer waiting. Once is enough though.

Alba’s buffet selection does not change much but is always a delight to go to and enjoy a high quality variety of food which can satisfy almost every palate imaginable. The service is excellent as well. Add to the mix your family and friends to have an almost perfect meal at a very reasonable price.

Found the usual favorites as well as few fresh tasty items here. Didn't try the wines unfortunately. Very convincing range of home made sausages also sold here.

Visited the Alba Spanish restaurant in Quezon City for Monday lunch. The outside looks unprepossessing being on the corner of a busy crossroad, however once inside the restaurant we were surprised to find it almost full. The restaurant is designed to look a little like an hacienda. Wooden tables with place mats are quite well spaced from each other and of a good size. Background Spanish music was not too loud nor obtrusive. Service was efficient and knowledgeable. The al-a-carte menu is extensive and wholly and authentically Spanish. We chose fresh juices and then a mix of 6 hot and cold tapas and then had desert and coffee. The quality of the food was excellent and it is easy to see why it was full on Monday lunchtime. There is an extensive choice of wine but we did not partake of any. At the back of the restaurant is a counter selling various types of home-made Spanish sausages and cooked meats. US$45 for 2.
